Dynamics CRM 2016 Update 1 (Spring Wave Update)was released on May 23 where new features such as “Field Services” and “Project Services” were introduced along with the “Voice of Customer” in which you can create anonymous questionaires.

In this article, I will be showing how to enable all of these modules in Dynamics CRM 2016 Online.

How to try Dynamics CRM Online

First, go to the Office 365 Administration Console.


Click on the Administration Center, and choose CRM.


CRM Online Administration Center is shown. Click on Solutions.


Enable Field Services

Select “Trial for Field Service” and choose the install button.


Read the trial agreement click on the “Install” button.


Enable Project Services

Select “Trial for Project Service Automation” and click on the “Install” button.


Read the trial agreement click on the “Install” button.


Enable Voice of the Customer

Select the “Voice of the Customer” and choose “Install” at the right side of your screen.


Read the trial agreement click on the “Install” button.


Installation is not immediate and will take around 15 minutes.

Once installed, the status will change to “Installed”


Now lets try it out in Dynamics CRM Online!

The navigation for Voice of the Customer allows you to access to questionaires and its results.


Next, lets look at Project Services.

You can manage the Project Agreements, expenses, and even resources within Dynamics CRM.


And lastly, Field Services.

You can create service orders and reserve resources for the dispatch.
